Battery current sensor — replacement
Note: The battery current sensor is attached to the negative battery cable. The battery current sensor may also be referred to as the generator control ECU assembly.
1. Ensure the ignition switch is in the off position.
2. Remove the nut and disconnect the negative battery cable from the negative battery terminal.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the battery current sensor.
4. Remove the nut(s) and remove the battery current sensor from the negative battery cable (see illustration).

2 Positive battery cable,
3 Battery hold-down clamps,
4 Battery insulators,
5 Battery current sensor
5. Installation is reverse of removal.
