Cruise control system — general information
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controls the cruise control system electronically via the electronic throttle control system. If you have problems with the cruise control system, check for the presence of trouble codes stored in the PCM (see Emissions and engine control systems). If that doesn’t turn up any problems, have it checked by a dealer service department or other qualified repair shop
