Bulb replacement
Front park/turn signal lights and side marker lights
1. Open the hood and locate the park/turn signal or side marker light bulb holder (see illustration). Turn the bulb holder counter-clockwise and pull it from the housing. Pull the bulb from the socket and install the new one
2. Rotate the bulb holder counterclockwise and pull the bulb out. Remove the bulb from the holder.
3. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Rear tail light/brake light/turn signal
4. To access the tail light bulbs, remove the two screws securing the lens assembly to the vehicle (see illustrations), then grasp the housing and pull it straight back to release the pins from their retainers.
i. 4a Remove the two screws.
i. 4b… then pull the housing straight back
5. Rotate the bulb holders counter clock- wise and pull the bulbs out to remove them (see illustration).
i. 5 Rotate the bulb holder counterclockwise to remove it from the housing then, pull the bulb out of the socket and install the new one
6. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Liftgate bulb replacement
7. Remove the access cover with a flat trim tool to gain access to the bulb holders (see illustrations).
i. 7a Remove the access cover
i. 7b With access cover removed, turn the bulb holder counterclockwise to remove the bulb and socket, then pull the bulb straight out of the socket and install the new one
High-mounted brake light
Note: High-mounted brake lights are the LED type. Replace the assembly, not a bulb.
8. Remove the liftgate trim panel (see Body).
9. Remove the high-mounted brake light mounting screws and pull the light assembly out from the rear spoiler (see illustration).

10. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Interior lights
11. Basically, all the interior light fixtures are removed in the same manner. Start by prying the lens off of the light housing (see illustrations), then replace the bulb.
i. 11a Pry off the front reading light lens using a flat-bladed screwdriver or trim tool
i. 11b Replace the bulbs by pulling straight out from their terminals
i. 11c Center overhead dome light lens can be pried off with a small flat screwdriver
i. 11d Use the screwdriver again to work one end of the dome light bulb out, then grasp the bulb, pull it out the rest of the way and replace it
Warning: Don’t pry on the glass!
i. 11e Luggage compartment light fixtures can be removed with a pocket screwdriver
i. 11f Slide the fixture out partially to disconnect it
i. 11g With the fixture removed, separate the lens and housing. Replace the bulb and reinstall
12. Installation is the reverse of removal.
License plate lights
13. Carefully pry out the access panel from the liftgate trim panel, then turn the bulb holder(s) counterclockwise to remove (see illustration). Pull the bulb straight out of the holder and install the new one.

Fog light
15. Park the vehicle with the wheel pointing inward on the side of the burned-out bulb.
16. Remove the fasteners from the front of the inner fender splash shield (see Body), then peel back the splash shield for access to the fog light.
17. Unplug the electrical connector, then twist the bulb holder to remove it from the light housing.
18. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Outside mirror turn signal light
19. Carefully pry the outer cover off of the side view mirror(s) housing.
Note: On mirrors equipped with a heating element and/or blind spot monitor systems, disconnect the heating element and/or the blind spot monitor connector.
20. Remove the two turn signal mounting fasteners and detach the two signal housing clips from the mirror.
21. Rotate the bulb counterclockwise to remove it.
22. Installation is the reverse of removal.
